Our Services during Holy Week:
Maundy Thursday
On Maundy Thursday, March 28 at 5:30pm, we will share in a Seder Supper which celebrates both Passover and the Last Supper of our Lord. There is a short liturgy preceding the meal and an Eucharist following the feast. The occasion is very family friendly, as the ritual before the food consists of questions posed by children and answered by adults. The meal at the heart of the celebration is a potluck dinner.
Please, indicate on the sign-up sheet in the narthex how many of your family will attend and what food dish you will contribute. Thank you.
Good Friday
The Good Friday Service at 11am
Easter Sunday
On Easter Sunday, the parishioners of St. John’s will join us for worship at 10am, as it is the 5th Sunday of the month. Ordinarily we would enjoy a potluck lunch together, we will forgo the lunch and we will share a light breakfast together of coffee, muffins and fruit, during the hour between the two services on Easter Morning.
If you can bake or bring a dozen muffins for the occasion, please indicate what kind on the sign-up sheet in the narthex. Muffins can be dropped off at the church on the Saturday morning of March 30 between 9 and 11am. Thank you.
